Our lake is back

I love it when the bottom fills up, it's so beautiful.

We go from this to.....
this in one week!!! Crazy

A Weathered Christmas

We postponed our usual immediate family Christmas dinner to New Year's Day due to the weather. It was great. We had a ton of time to hang out and have fun together. The cousins are always happy to be together and, as usual, we had an amazing dinner thanks to Mom and Carol. What a wonderful 1st Christmas in our new house.
Sweet little Jakey
Father and Son...ahhhhh
I love Kung fuuuuuuuuu
"Cool...this is the one I needed!!!"
The Barbie phase has begun...she has two now after this Christmas.
" My very own game for the Wii....Carson, you can't play it"

Woo-hoo....feathery. It matches my barbie
The kiddos

Not recommended

"Hey kids, I have a fun activity planned for today. Let's go ice-skating!!!!" woo-hoo, yayyyy. Yeah, fun in theory. I won't do that again on my own. They loved running around the 'non-ice' area with their skates on and for about 5 min on the ice. After that, it was A LOT of work for mom to keep two kids off their butts and after 1 rotation, they were done..."Oh-no...I paid 27 bucks for this...were going around again, no matter how painful" LOL

Rock Legends

This is about the only way the kids will use the guitars. It is so funny. It's probably not the most 'kid friendly' song, but they seemed to enjoy it. Ironically, the name of their band (named by Carson) is "We Love The Whole World". It's kinda long and boring at first, but the good part is at the end when Carson starts to get into it.

The Princesses of the Household

Mommy and Daughter gettin' all dolled up for the dance as Maddy put it--while the boys played Wii downstairs
"This is how we are going to get to the dance...the fairy godmother will use magic"
oh, oh...I musn't be late

The Magic of Christmas Morning

The kids were so shiny that morning. I loved seeing their bright faces and it was so cute to watch them open their gifts. We are very blessed.

One picture together for Mom...I begged
Guitar Hero...this is Mom's fave, the kids and Jeremy---not so much

Now were talking. Jeremy and Carson have spent many a day getting through all the levels of this game on Wii....ahhh....father son bonding.

Christmas Bliss

We spent Christmas Eve with the Mullen side of our Family and this is what Grandma Kate gave to Mads, she was so happy and overjoyed....the pictures explain it all.

Look at that hair fly
yeeeeeeee-hawwwww
Mine

This was our backyard on Christmas Eve, so it was a very small celebration since most people couldn't travel...we however only needed to go next door. Love it!!!

Snow, snow, ice, snow, snow, snow, sledding!!!!

I loved the snow. It was so much fun and so pretty to look at. I was, however stranded in my house for over a week and the putting on and taking off of snow clothes got old...quick, but the kids had fun and it was an amazing storm.

sledder dude

She just needs a scarf and she'd be Randy from 'A Christmas Story'

Our front yard

Our neighbor's bird bath...before we got a couple more inches

Our neighbor's car--good thing they were out of town and didn't need to shovel this out.

"I can't get up......Ralpie.....I CAnnnnnnnn't Get UUUUUUUUP"
Making the trek

Tree time

Here we are decorating our tree and playing in the snow and ice. It is hilarious to see that Madelyn has figured out how to 'walk on the ice' before falling through. What a fun time

the ice crawl
Stomp, stomp, crunch, crunch

Our beautiful tree...we usually go into the mountains and cut a tree from the snowy forest, but we had a snowy forest at home, so it kept us from our usual. It was a fun adventure---a three hour tree hunt for a tree farm.

ooooo Darth yellow

What a goof, but he loves his Mommy!!!
