The Graduate and summer fun!!

The cherries are in full and thick this year and we are gobbling them up. We have a beautiful Royal Anne cherry tree in our front yard and we go pickin' wheneve we pass by. Our neighbor has a HUGE one too, so we are eating our weight in cherries right now. Ah...the farm life.
ooooo, a big one!!
Please don't fall off...please don't fall off...please don't fall off....

My goofy little angel

Congrats to Carson!! He graduated from kindergarten with flying colors. He is going to be a first grader (and go to school for a whole day...woohoo). We are so proud of him and excited for his accomplishments. He's reading everything around him all the time and has made a lot of friends that will be going through the grade school with him--since there is only one class per grade, he better like his classmates ;)

Take me out to the ball game!!!

Carson had his first game in T-ball recently and it was the cutest thing ever. I was surprised at how focused they were and how much they all knew about the game. There are no outs and they all get a chance to bat. There were some kids playing with dirt and not knowing where to throw the ball, but that was the best part as a parent. Carson has been enjoying it and loving the social aspect--sometimes the talking is more important than catching the ball...love it!!!!

Go for it!!
Woo-hoo!!! Go Black Knights!!!
What number are you??? What's your name????

Made it home

A new toy

The kids received a new present from Grandma Kate recently. It has been a lot of fun taking them along in our 'all terrain' radio flyer wagon. I am excited too--I get to use it for the garden, so it's a present for us all ;)

woo-hoo look at our new ride
How did I get such strange children???

Just Because

We were goofin' around yesterday and playin' with the camera. I couldn't believe it, but it was Carson who was wanting his picture taken more than Maddy.
What a weirdo ;)

The ultra-super hero. Sword, lightsaber, cape, mask...he's got it all and no shirt!!!
My sweet little girl
More super hero action. Yesterday the get up included a SuperMan emblem on his chest and a sheriff badge.

Carson's 6th Birthday

Carson is growing up!! He turned 6 and had a super-fun Star Wars sleepover at his house. It was an action packed couple of days and he had a blast with all his buddies. I can't believe it's been six years since he was born...time flies.

A much anticipated visit

We love to have our visits with the Green's. We are so happy (especially me) when we get to see them. Madelyn and Karter are only 10 months apart and the gap is closing in fast. They love, to wear the princess shoes and do girly things together.

Miles went for a ride on the horse--giddy-up!!!

The first tooth!!!

Carson lost his first tooth on Feb 19th!!! It just seems like yesterday that the same tooth was coming in. He's getting big. He is so funny though. He decided that he didn't want the tooth fairy to take his tooth. He wanted me to save it (if he only knew). So we kept it for about a week, but the desire for money was too great and he succumbed. He finally left it under his pillow. He woke up to find two shiny gold dollar coins the next morning.
