Baaa, baa

Carson had his church Christmas program today. He practiced and practiced for weeks and got to stand next to his cousin, Thomas and his friend and neighbor, Aardgen. They look too cute in their little "sheep costumes". We were so proud of our shy little boy getting up in front of the whole congregation and doing his very best. He is becoming so brave.

Madelyn tried on the sheep hat and did some sheep noises during the rest of the service. She can't wait to get up there and be singing along with her brother next year.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

HO HO HO

We went to visit Santa Claus today and Carson got to tell him everything he desired to be under the tree Christmas morning. Madelyn was totally excited to sit on Santa's lap until we got there and then she flat out refused. So Carson got him all to himself. Maybe next year Madelyn will be sitting next to her big brother.

Update

Time has flown by. I haven't posted in a while, so here is a few pictures to bring you all up to date.

This is just after Halloween and Madelyn is checking out some vampire teeth, while Carson is SuperMan for the evening. Gosh, those teeth look really weird on Madelyn.

Here is Thanksgiving with the Crace's. Not many little ones around, but Jeremy took a moment to read a book the them. This is Clark, Jeremy's cousin. They are listening so well, aren't they?

It's Christmas time!! The kids had a blast decorating a gingerbread house.

Lots and lots and lots of candy!! A few days later, Madelyn pulled this house off of the counter trying to steal a gumball off of it and it shattered into a hundred pieces. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
A tree-hunting' we will go!! We went up to find a Christmas tree and have fun in the snow!!
Josie loved the snow until her little paws got cold and then she just shivered....
Here we are patiently waiting for Jeremy to go hunt down the tree and cut it down. The kids had so much fun. The favorite game was snowball fights...of course.
Here is the adorable pair in front of our beautiful little tree. They did a great job with the decorations. Merry Christmas

Good Friends

I just couldn't resist putting up these adorable pictures of Carson and Paige, one of Carson's closest friends and neighbor. They play together all the time and her we joke about how they are going to get married someday.

Halloween

We had lots of fun this year for Halloween. The kids had plenty to do with parties at friends, family, church and school. I think the sugar-high will last a month minimum, but worth it.

Carson flashes that smile for a picture with his little sister

Collin looks so funny in that wig--he's Shaggy from Scooby-Doo--hahaha

Wow, they all posed together.

This is a shot from two years ago--the only other time we got them all together at once

Lauren (Velma) isn't quite ready for the shot, but Ian (Yoda) is all smiles--cheese
Here are the little ones 2 years ago. Madelyn is only 2 weeks old (she's the pumpkin)
Here they are last year...missing Julia she refused to take a picture. Madelyn is almost about ready to do the same

Carson, last year, as a tough and strong lion--roarrrrr
Back to this year's festivities. The kids are busy playing a fun Halloween game.

Time to eat. The big brothers get their spot....

...while the little ones socialize at their own table

Julia didn't much want to take this picture for me

Zach helped his mom make the mud cake with gummy worms...yum

Nate enjoys his dirt and worms

Nate's little brother, Ian, follows suit

Lauren goes for the candy pumpkins

and Madelyn follows suit

that was good, but now it's time to go play some more--see ya!!
Here's Madelyn after trick-or-treating. She checkin' out her stash

Fall Fun and Fractures

Well, as many of you already know, Carson fractured his clavicle at school last week and had to go to the doctor to get X-rays. It just happened to be at the same time he took his class mascot, Barkley, home for the weekend so we had to document all the events of the weekend with the floppy stuffed dog for the journal that goes back to class with him. We also went to our favorite pumpkin patch, Lakeview Farms. The kids had so much fun riding boats and trains and horses and of course picking out pumpkins. Barkley was there to join in on all the fun with us.

Here's Carson, Barkley and Carson's fabulous doctor, Dr. Hinkley-Hynes before he went to go get x-rays.

Barkley got all spiffed up with Carson at Little Clippers

We've arrived and we love the mud!!

Let's see how much mud we can get on our boots

Carson looks at the lake while waiting for the boat to pick us up

Ahhhh a shark--in a lake--weird.
Carson watches for the shark
Madelyn searches for the perfect pumpkin

Barkley guards the pumpkins on the train for the ride back. Thanks Barkley

Madelyn's Big Day

Madelyn turned two over the weekend. I can't believe how much she has grown and changed in such a short amount of time. She is so sweet and smart. We couldn't be more proud of her. She had a blast at her birthday party at OGA. She invited a lot of friends and they all seemed to enjoy themselves. Kids playing are too fun to watch.

Rise and Shine Birthday Girl!!
Thumbs up for fun
