Christmas Bliss

We spent Christmas Eve with the Mullen side of our Family and this is what Grandma Kate gave to Mads, she was so happy and overjoyed....the pictures explain it all.

Look at that hair fly
yeeeeeeee-hawwwww
Mine

This was our backyard on Christmas Eve, so it was a very small celebration since most people couldn't travel...we however only needed to go next door. Love it!!!

Snow, snow, ice, snow, snow, snow, sledding!!!!

I loved the snow. It was so much fun and so pretty to look at. I was, however stranded in my house for over a week and the putting on and taking off of snow clothes got old...quick, but the kids had fun and it was an amazing storm.

sledder dude

She just needs a scarf and she'd be Randy from 'A Christmas Story'

Our front yard

Our neighbor's bird bath...before we got a couple more inches

Our neighbor's car--good thing they were out of town and didn't need to shovel this out.

Making the trek

Tree time

Here we are decorating our tree and playing in the snow and ice. It is hilarious to see that Madelyn has figured out how to 'walk on the ice' before falling through. What a fun time

the ice crawl
Stomp, stomp, crunch, crunch

Our beautiful tree...we usually go into the mountains and cut a tree from the snowy forest, but we had a snowy forest at home, so it kept us from our usual. It was a fun adventure---a three hour tree hunt for a tree farm.

ooooo Darth yellow

What a goof, but he loves his Mommy!!!

Madelyn turns 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our precious little girl is growing up. I am so amazed at what a great young lady she is becoming. She makes us laugh and gives us so much joy. Our kids are the greatest things we have ever done.

The Scholls Country Festival

What an amazing event. We spent the day at the Scholls Country Festival. It is amazing to me that such a little school like Groner can accomplish such a huge and successful event. It goes to show what dedicated and wonderful parents and volunteers our community has. It was a fun day full of fun activites put on by each classroom (only one per grade) and face painting and food and balloons...fun, fun, fun

Dylan and his balloon hat
Jeremy was recruited to be the chaperone at the bounce house.

Madelyn's hat. What a goof ball

The covered hay maze was so cool, but a back-breaker for the grown-ups.
Madelyn got a little lost

A few pictures of my baby girl

Madelyn is growing up before our very eyes. She is such an amazing little girl. I can't believe what an outstanding person she is becoming.

Here she is after she smelled a candle. She stuck her face a little too far in, wouldn't ya say?
My precious angel

Woo-hoo...her hair is growing. It's long enough to put in braids.
